Air traffic controller, businesswoman, entrepreneur, business consultant, and coach
Originally from Iceland, Alma Hall is an entrepreneur, business consulting coach, and life coach now based in Höllviken, Sweden. Her area of focus as a consultant is helping entrepreneurs in their startup phase to get organized and get moving. She also helps small to medium businesses focus on what they want, impose a structure and implement a no-blame culture.
Alma also helps women transform what is lost in the everyday circle to break out and become the best version of themselves, living life to the fullest.
Alma worked as an air traffic controller in Reykjavik for 11 years before moving to Sweden. After that, she decided to follow her dream and opened up a shoe store, then a large apparel store stocking major brand names like Max Mara, Hugo Boss, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Stuart Weitzman, Givenchy, and more. With the advent of e-commerce, she started a company that sold her own brand of low-carb pasta online. YES – a huge change every time, and that meant learning everything from scratch, which she loved.
From air traffic to shoes to import/export of organic products, she once again made a change to consulting and coaching amazing people.
Besides working as her own boss for the last 12 years, enjoying the rollercoaster ride of being self-employed, she has had the amazing opportunity to spend more quality time with her family – husband and three kids, and a cat.

Air Traffic Control
Alma worked as an air traffic controller in Reykjavík, Iceland, for 12 years, and for one year in Sweden.
Entrepreneur
Alma set up a shoe store with no knowledge of how to get brands, so (after many Google searches) she flew to New York and booked meetings with high-end brands. Little did she know that this was not the way you should do it, BUT she did come home with brands in her pocket!
Shoestore grew into a large parallel store with eight fantastic employees.
She then left the fashion world for the online market. Started to sell low-carb pasta witch became a huge success and for 7 years she enjoyed selling the pasta online as well as on Amazon across Europe.
Besides pasta Alma started selling various health products under her own brand name such as spirulina, lucuma, chia seeds, etc. – all organic to improve her daughter's health, and others. That did not go so well! (Yes, she can admit when things don’t go well). The market was not ready and she made mistakes, that she can now look back on and learn from. Working in the import export business for 7 years, building brands and websites she now took yet another turn. This time in her spare time she partnered up and set up an online training company for women aged 40-plus. That could have been great, but she realized shortly after opening that she hadn’t picked the right partner. One year later, Alma bought the company.
Coaching
Once again Alma changes her field. In January 2022 she became a life coach and in August 2022 she became a certified business consulting coach from Evercoach by Mindvalley.
Alma loves to guide others and help people grow both in their lives as well as their businesses. She knows the challenges an Entrepreneur has to tackle and she wants to be there for those who need it.
When you are an entrepreneur you need to trust your instincts and the numbers you see, as well as the hours you are putting in. You need to ask yourself, is this worth it? There is no shame in closing and doing something else – there is shame in doing something that doesn‘t make you happy!
Alma loves how people with any form of block can start to see clearly with coaching. We all have it in us – we just (sometimes) need a little bit of help to find it. Transform your life – live life like you want to. Don’t focus on what others think – this is your life, so start living it!

Hobbies and interests
Adventure
Alma loves traveling and outdoor activities such as hiking. She gets her fuel and inspiration from taking day trips to wherever with a backpack full of snacks.
Alma loves playing padel during the day, getting to meet new people all the time as well as getting some action (she loves competing!).
Alma loves spending time with her friends, inviting her girlfriends over for champagne and gossip as well as testing new recipes on them.
Alma loves designing – she designed the house her family lives in and the garden as well. She loves to brainstorm and see what is possible – she believes there is always a way; you just have to find it and go for it!
